Initial Behavioural Consultation & Assessment
If your dog is experiencing complex behaviours such as reactivity, fearfulness, anxiety-based behaviours, or aggression, this specialist service is here to help.
Before our first meeting, I’ll send you a detailed history form to complete, so I can begin understanding your dog’s world right away. In some cases, I may recommend a vet check and will request relevant medical history (with your permission) to ensure we’re supporting your dog as comprehensively as possible.
Your initial assessment and consultation will last between 1.5 to 2 hours. During this time, we’ll explore every aspect of your dog’s behaviour, history, lifestyle, and health to get to the root of what’s going on. This holistic understanding allows me to create a tailored support plan for you and your dog, outlining clear, compassionate steps forward. You’ll also receive relevant electronic handouts to support your learning.
Included in this service:
- A personalised support plan for you and your dog (sent electronically)
- A complimentary one-hour follow-up appointment, to take place 4 – 6 weeks after your initial consultation
- Three months of telephone and email support to guide you as you put your plan into practice
- Communication with your vet or other practitioners involved in your dog’s care (with your consent)
- Discount on follow-up appointments, to continue your progress with guidance.
Investment: £225
(Please note: if you’re outside my local area, a travel fee may apply – I will confirm this upon enquiry.)
Follow-Up Appointments:
Additional one-hour follow-up sessions are available for £55 each (plus travel if outside my local area). These sessions are designed to continue your progress and provide extra coaching as needed.
Follow-up appointments are tailored to what works best for you and your dog, whether at home, outdoors, or during a structured support walk – a popular choice for many guardians looking to build confidence and skills in real-life environments.
